St. Mary's GHSS Pala

St. Mary's Girls Higher Secondary School, established in the year 1921, is an higher secondary school for girls run by the Franciscan Clarist Congregation and managed by the Corporate Educational Agency, Pala Diocese. We follow the Kerala State SCERT syllabus and is one among the top schools in the state. The school, situated in a serene and green atmosphere in the heart of the city of Pala, has always given equal importance to academic excellence, extracurricular activities and impeccable social behaviour. It has also stressed the need for spiritual growth in the midst of material growth. It is pupil-centred in so far as the teacher is more a mentor, a facilitator and a catalyst who inspires confidence and promotes active learning instead of passive listening to her lecture.
